Our New Office in Lake Chapala, Mexico: Building the Entrepreneur Expat Hub

by Justin Keltner  - February 3, 2026

For years, Entrepreneur Expat has existed entirely online.

We’ve helped hundreds of people relocate abroad, build remote income, secure residency, and redesign their lives — all through screens, Zoom calls, and digital resources. And while that model works incredibly well, something kept coming up again and again in our conversations with clients and our community.

People want connection.
They want clarity.
They want a place they can walk into and say, “Okay, I’m here — now what?”

That’s why we’re excited to officially share this milestone: Entrepreneur Expat now has a physical office in the Lake Chapala area of Mexico.

Not as a corporate headquarters.
Not as a sales floor.
But as a community space for expats, aspiring expats, and freedom-minded people who want real answers — in real life.

Why Lake Chapala?

Lake Chapala has quietly become one of the most dynamic expat hubs in Mexico.

It offers affordability, a slower pace of life, strong infrastructure, proximity to Guadalajara, and a growing international community. While many people initially look at Ajijic or Chapala proper, much of the real growth is now moving west toward Jocotepec — where better real estate opportunities and more space are still available.

That’s exactly where our office is located: right on the main highway between Jocotepec and Chapala, with easy access, visibility, and walk-in traffic.

We’re surrounded by everyday essentials — markets, cafés, delivery services — and, most importantly, by people who are actively exploring a new chapter of life in Mexico.

What This Office Is (and What It Isn’t)

This space isn’t about “going corporate.”
It’s about grounding what we do in real-world relationships.

Here’s what we’re building:

  • A place to meet clients in person

  • A hub for relocation guidance, residency support, and real estate connections

  • A filming and studio space for more consistent, higher-quality content

  • A classroom-style area for live workshops and in-person events

  • A gathering place for expats, entrepreneurs, and digital nomads to connect

We’ve already had people walking in — even before the office was fully set up — asking about residency, real estate, property management, and moving to Mexico. That alone confirmed what we felt intuitively: this space was needed.

A One-Stop Shop for the Questions You’ve Been Asking

Over the last few years, we’ve noticed a pattern. People aren’t just asking where to move — they’re asking:

  • How does residency really work?

  • How do I make money remotely without burning out?

  • What does real life in Mexico actually look like?

  • Who can I trust with legal, real estate, and immigration decisions?

This office allows us to bring together a network of vetted professionals — real estate agents, immigration facilitators, attorneys, and business advisors — in one place.

No more piecing together conflicting advice from forums and Facebook groups.
No more guessing who’s legitimate.
No more navigating this alone.

Why This Matters in 2026

The world is changing quickly.

More people are questioning where they live, how they work, and who they want to be surrounded by. At the same time, misinformation is everywhere, and trust is harder to earn.

Opening a physical office is our way of saying:
We’re here. We’re invested. And we’re building something long-term.

Entrepreneur Expat isn’t just a YouTube channel or a set of digital products anymore. It’s a growing ecosystem — online and offline — designed to support real people through real transitions.
