The firm

I built this life. Then I built the firm.

Entrepreneur Expat began as a YouTube channel documenting an honest move to Mexico. It became an advisory firm because people kept asking me to help them do what I had already done.

Entrepreneur Expat

A strategic advisory firm, not a relocation service.

We are not a visa mill, a real estate brokerage, or a directory of expat services. We are a small strategic advisory firm that helps American and Canadian entrepreneurs, investors, and families build international options deliberately.

We sit upstream of the professionals who execute — the attorneys, notarios, accountants, and agents — and help our clients understand the full strategic picture before any of those relationships begin.

The firm is built on a single conviction: geographic diversification is a legitimate and increasingly necessary form of prudent planning — and most people doing it are doing it without a coherent strategy.

The strategist.

I spent years building businesses in the US before relocating to Guadalajara, Jalisco in November 2021. I learned Spanish as an adult, built a local professional network from scratch, and partnered on a 62-lot real estate development — the kind of ground-level operational experience that informs every engagement I lead.

Since then I've gone through the immigration process myself in more than one country: I hold residency in both Mexico and Colombia, with two more in progress. The strategy I advise on is the strategy I've personally lived — not theory, and not someone else's playbook.

My wife Amanda was my first relocation; everything since has been built on what that first move taught me. My work at Entrepreneur Expat focuses on the strategic layer: jurisdiction selection, sequencing, entity structure, and the business case for geographic diversification.

The life

I live what I advise.

The credibility of this firm rests on one thing: I actually did this. I didn't study it, consult on it from the US, or model it on spreadsheets.

I moved to Mexico with no inherited advantage, built a life there — businesses, land, relationships, fluency — and documented every step on YouTube. The channel crossed 4,000 subscribers not because I performed the dream, but because I showed the work.
